A Simple but Beautiful Friday | Autumn Edition

“ It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop”🌹

Hey, my friends!

I've been sick for a week, and it took me another week to recover. So, I've been staying home for almost three weeks. However, I really wanted to go out, get some fresh air, and spend some time surrounded by nature.

Also, I recently shared a full week of getting back to my routine and i promised you last week that I would share my Friday with you. So long story short Friday is my day off from routine. Today, I want you to spend it with me at the park!

Cute Kitten

I missed nature so much, and the weather was beautiful. Anyway, I spotted this little kitten and wished she would follow me to where I was sitting. And guess what? She did!

She's so cute, mashallah, but unfortunately, she's not very friendly. I love cats, and I had missed seeing them for the past two weeks.

Beautiful Reading

I brought a book with me, a collection of short stories by Naguib Mahfouz.

At first, I was a little confused while reading it. There were so many characters, and I kept wondering when they would all come together in one scene or how the author would connect their stories. I was literally waiting for that moment!

Then, I discovered that they were actually short stories. I had ordered the book without even reading its summary!

Anyway, it's an amazing collection, and I enjoyed every single story. I love reading books by this author. He's truly an exceptional writer.

Journaling in Nature

Yesterday, I was listening to a French podcast, and they asked an interesting question: "What makes you special?"

I thought it was a great question to journal about. So, let's answer it together!

What makes me special?

I'll share my answer with you, and you can write yours, too.

This is actually a deep question. In my opinion, what makes me special is my personality and its unique traits. In the past, I used to dislike some of these traits because I couldn't see their value. But when I entered my thirties and became more self-aware, I started appreciating them and seeing the beauty in my personality.

I'm a highly sensitive person, if you didn't know that . One of my most important traits is empathy. I used to feel empathy for everyone without even being conscious of it. But now, I'm more aware of it and have learned how to manage it better.

Drawing the Sunset

I'm not an artist, but I enjoy drawing for fun. So, I decided to bring my sketchbook with me and draw a picture inspired by nature.

I like to sketch on one day and leave the coloring for another. This is a simple drawing, but there's one thing in it that I honestly don't know what it's called! It was quite difficult for me to draw.

I did my best to get it right, but I failed, so please don't laugh, guys! 😅 I know it's not perfect, but this is the best I could do with my current drawing skills. I can't do much better than that... yet!

A Beautiful Friday to Remember

Thank you, my friends, for joining me on my beautiful Friday at the park.

It was such a calm and lovely day, especially after spending almost three weeks at home. Being outside again really hits differently! 😌 I enjoyed every single second of it.

Thanks for reading, and I wish you all a happy and peaceful night❤️
